EPL intropatch + Lawro removal patch by puuro

Shouting Lawrenson patch

To make things clear first, by "the game" I don't mean "THE game".

The basic change in PES2009 compared to PES2008 as far as the commentary is concerned was that Mr Lawrenson started to shout things occasionally and therefore showing more passion for the game. However, it is still obvious that mostly he's bored with the game and wants to walk out the game.

This small patch is a little tweak to commentary: I've replaced some of the bored commentary with his shouting comms. Don't expect any huge change though, I'm only talking about 79 files here, you probably won't even notice it. And some of his shouting commentary can be as embarrassing as the original, say, very analytic ones. So you may feel that the useless-ness-ness is reaching for new heights here. But if you felt refreshed with the shouting comms that came with the 2009 edition, this patch might be the one for you. This patch is designed for those who frequenty use the phrase "quality before quantity" at dinner tables all over the world.

Lawrenson removal patch by puuro

Has he been caught by traffic? Has someone nicked his microphone? And if so, why isn't mr Champion lending one of his? Or is it just slight technical difficulties? The difficulties that seem to be of epic proportions as it does go on and on, for at least the next ninety minutes, and the injury time and penalties even.

Now it's your chance to speculate the whereabouts of Mr Lawrenson by downloading the patch. Or maybe it's not reasonable to speculate. Just enjoy the game. There is often a silence during replays, and that's because mr Champion can't think of anything to say. Maybe in the possible future updates Champion will say something, but I doubt it.

This patch is inhumane. I'm the first (naturally!) to acknowledge this. It might even be that no-one's interested. But I do believe there is a target audience of at least three people who might take some pleasure out of this. I can't please everyone, it's impossible. No doubt I would if it was possible.

This is actually an old idea, but I'm not aware of anyone actually releasing anything of this kind, mainly because it's useless. I was just learning to use BULK RENAME UTILITY by Jim Willsher when i suddenly thought why not...

Insert the folder rs0e_e.img in your kitserver img directory OR if you're bordering on insanity, you can use afs explorer in order to import it in the original rs0e_e.img, but that would be just evil.

PS1. If you're angry to the TV station for promising Mr Lawrenson to be your expert analyst in the scoreboard graphics, you can remove his name with your
preferred text string editor (rv0c_e.img - unnamed_1.bin - subfile 17).

PS2. In future updates some commentary by Champion asking someone called "Mark" for an opinion, will be removed. This will concern the halftime and end of match talk mainly. Now I just hope "Marks" have disappeared completely from start of the matches which would be the most important thing.

EPL Intro Music Patch

The pack contains bins 11-30, that go into cs0d.img folder (your choice really, you can choose either the present EPL tune or the old anthem for the sake of good old times). Of course, you can mix them with other entrance music patches, if you want. Bins 11-30 you can hear in exhibition matches and BAL matches. Remember to back up the old bins, if you've got some. Can't stress that enough, i guess.

Also I've included UCL intro for BAL mode (originally called Europe Championship or something like that). they're the bins 41 and 42. i'm not 100% sure about that 42 whether the game really uses that one or not, so you might want to change those around for testing. suffice to say, you probably won't hear the longer version to the end in most of the fixtures. Only in the most important matches.
